Using sound manipulation to field recordings, found sounds and chopped up audio recordings we create a dreamlike atmosphere. Monotonous at times, like a nightmare with NO END.

 Turmoil is Tom and Holly Maggio.

Turmoil is also the founder of Amduscias Records Net Label. It is a net label featuring dark, electronic music. All releases are available for FREE digital download from archive.org.   ROSE RED & UPHEAVAL 

Rose Red

Rose Red was created by Holly of Turmoil. I originally joined Turmoil in November 2006 but soon realized that I needed to have a project of my own. Thus, Rose Red was born. I use Rose Red as an outlet for the traumas that haunt my soul. As I continue to explore the depths of my subconscious, I am finding endless subjects to be explored by Rose Red. With each release the healing process continues....

A collaboration between Tom Maggio of Turmoil and Jim Byington of Eroding the Moral Fabric of Society and Nibiru recorded at various locations throughout Florida. This collaboration was started in 1998.

Elvatorium

Elvatorium is a collaboration between Tom Maggio from USA and Radek Kordasiewicz from Poland. They continue their collaborative work since late 2006. Elvatorium's first album "At Border Of Disorder" (recorded with guest saxophonist Janusz Kruszelnicki) has been released through Amduscias Records netlabel in september 2007. This year sees the duo working with guests Troy Southgate (of H.E.R.R.) on vocals and again Janusz Kruszelnicki on the saxophone.

2008 - Particular Streams Remixes - Remixes for the great mystified album Particular Streams, Turmoil remixed the tracks By Jove, Bedpost Boogie, Stereo Hums, and Treated Rubber Thomas of mystified, having listened to a recent net release through Batman and Robin Records, realized that the sounds in the release would function well both as individual songs and as raw material for remixes. Much of the sounds on this release, "Particular Streams", are translations of field recordings made in South Saint Louis, Missouri
